There has been a nursery on Linton Common since 1923. In that time Riverside Nurseries has seen many changes, but has always been a family-run business.
BK Growers was established in 1976 and through continued investment in automation and training, we have grown into one of Yorkshire’s finest producers of Summer and Winter bedding plants.
In addition, we now grow an extensive range of quality perennials, available from March to May in 1lt pots and June to July 3lt pots.

Just a reminder that we will be closed all day today for the Bank Holiday.
All the staff who make up ‘Team Riverside’ work extremely hard all year, working through all the other bank holidays during the busy season, so the August bank holiday is the day of the year we all like to spend with our families. I’m sure you understand.
We will re open at both Linton and Shadwell tomorrow as usual!

We were privileged to attend the Evening of Hope at CATCH, Leeds on Wednesday evening, a totally inspiring night listening to the stories and achievements of the young people of one of the most under supported areas of Leeds, helped by an amazing team of selfless leaders who give the young people guidance and life skills that will stay with them throughout their lives. An incredible evening, thank you to everyone involved.
