Our Involvement with CATCH

Riverside Plants works closely with CATCH, donating plants and other materials for young people to use in their projects.

CATCH (Community Action To Create Hope) is a registered charity based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, with a strong belief in the inherent greatness of every child. Through the power of positive mentorship, CATCH aims to change the trajectory of young people’s lives by providing them with access to the necessary tools and resources to pursue their full potential. The organisation is dedicated to investing in opportunities that help young individuals unlock their potential and achieve success.

Located in Harehills, Leeds, CATCH has established a vibrant and inclusive headquarters that serves as a safe space for the entire community, with a particular focus on young people. The organisation runs a popular youth program that benefits over 1000 children, offering a diverse range of activities, including sports, creative pursuits, and learning opportunities. Additionally, the charity engage young individuals in volunteering and social action projects to foster personal growth and community engagement.

CATCH is committed to supporting and inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds, acting as a source of advice and encouragement to raise aspirations within the community. Their passion for their mission is fuelled by witnessing young individuals overcome obstacles, achieve academic success, find their voice, and unlock their inherent greatness.

The organisation encourages community involvement through volunteering opportunities. They are always seeking dedicated individuals who want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. Volunteers have the chance to develop new skills, network with various organisations, and receive relevant training to excel in their roles.

There are multiple ways to support CATCH’s mission. Direct sponsorship or donations are welcomed and can contribute to the organisation’s ongoing work. Individuals can also get involved by providing their time and expertise to help deliver projects or mentor young people. Furthermore, CATCH offers its facilities for booking First Aid training courses or hosting social and business events, providing a mutually beneficial way for the community to come together.
