What is the best way to combat slugs?

To combat slugs in your garden, try these methods:

Handpicking: Regularly check your garden in the evening or early morning and pick off slugs by hand. Dispose of them far from your plants.

Beer traps: Bury a shallow dish in the ground and fill it with beer. Slugs are attracted to the beer and will crawl in and drown.

Copper barriers: Copper tape or copper wire around your plant pots or garden beds can act as a deterrent, as slugs dislike crossing copper.

Diatomaceous earth: Sprinkle diatomaceous earth around plants. It’s abrasive and dehydrates slugs when they come into contact with it.
