When do I trim my Buxus hedge?

For a Buxus (Boxwood) hedge , the best time to trim it is in late spring or early summer.

Aim to do the first trim around late May to mid-June. This allows new growth to mature before the colder months arrive.

Additionally, you can perform a light trim in late August or early September to tidy up the hedge before autumn. Avoid trimming in late autumn or winter to prevent frost damage to the fresh cuts
